Middle Georgia September Skirmish Chess Tournament, G30/i5

The club's upcoming chess tournament will take place Saturday September 20th, 2025 in Warner Robins, Georgia. It will be four rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated. Two sections: Open (1400+): Open to USCF rated 1400+. Reserve (U1400): Open to USCF rated under 1400 and Unrated. Sections will be assigned based on players’ Regular ratings published on official USCF website. All participants must be registered USCF members. Memberships can be applied for on-site. Membership cost for USCF depends on age ($20-40) and is separate from the registration cost of this tournament. Prizes: 100% of the proceeds go to the winners. Prizes are based on 40 registrations. Open: 1 st place $300, 2nd place $240, 3rd place $144. Reserve: 1 st $240, 2nd $180, 3rd $96. Time Control: 30 minutes per game with 5 sec increment per move, USCF dual-rated (Regular and Quick). Rounds: 1 st round 10:00am, 2 nd round 12:00pm, 3 rd round 1:30pm, 4 th round 3:00pm. Byes: 1/2-point bye’s available. Must request before 9:45am. 0-point bye’s available any time for any round.
